'Am Bothan' is the perfect place for families, friends or special interest groups to converge and relax, whether for a night, a long weekend or a more extended stay. So far this year we have hosted: children's birthday parties and sleepovers in our 'submarine room', family reunions, business lunches, the athletes of the Island Challenge, photography and diving groups, wildlife survey volunteers, backpacker tour groups, 'Hogmanay' celebrations... The list is endless and we are open to accomodating your ideas!

Your Safety

Our bunkhouse is purpose designed to meet all European standards and regulations: meeting all standards for fire safety, health and hygiene, and disabled access. We have ample space for off-road car or minibus parking and, indeed, have access to the 'South Harris Minibus' should it be required. Our bunkhouse is fully fenced and our back garden area provides a safe place for children to play.

Your Holiday

'Am Bothan' accommodates 18 or more people and we can arrange single-sex rooms should that be required. Our kitchen is spacious and well equipped with plenty of storage space. The large living/dining room area is thoughtfully designed for large group cooking and entertaining. Above all, 'Am Bothan' offers a homely atmosphere to all who travel here, making it a warm and cosy place to stay even in the winter months.
